National Italian American Heritage Month.....the ICD view

October is the month designated as the month to celebrate our heritage. Here at the ICD, we celebrate one very famous Italian's life and accomplishments, Christopher Columbus. We do this by holding our Columbus Day Gala at the Westin. Columbus, who led the way for all of us, was a man of daring and courage in search of a dream. This same scenario motivated many of our ancestors of a different era to seek a similar dream on the same path. Our Gala will be held on Oct 7th at 6:30 pm with a cocktail party with both still and sparkling Italian wines and a silent wine auction of over 40 fine Italian wines. The evening continues with a sumptuous Italian dinner and wines at 8 pm on into the night with dancing, espresso and desserts. It is our most elegant event that leaves us all asking for more.
