Long Ago.... but not forgotten

He visited these shores quite awhile ago. Although his presence was not immediately felt, it's impact would last for centuries. He was an Italian who had his trip financed by friend. Sounds like hundreds of thousands of Italian immigrants who have touched this land. But this visitor came early. His name was Christopher Columbus. To this day, we still celebrate his accomplishments know the world over. Here at the ICD, we take time of the year to honor this great adventurer during our Columbus Day Gala that occurs October 7th. The festivities will be held at the Westin Galleria starting at 6:30 with a cocktail party and the Italian Wine Auction which will be expanded this year. A fine meal, desserts and dancing round out the evening of our most elegant event of the year. Mark your calendars. You should be getting your invitations soon in the mail.
