Arguments are common..resolution is not

Maybe you have heard it also. It probably happens with other nationalities. But I can attest it happens with Italians. It all starts when someone asks the question, where does the best olive oil come from? Flick, there goes the regional blood flowing. They are called many names,-Pendolino, Belle of Cerignola, Frantoio, Leccino, Dolce di Agogia. They reside in a variety of regions, climates, and soil. And they are coerced in a multitude of ways that make this or that oil the best. Is it from Tuscany? Umbria? Puglia? Sicily? Sardinia? Pimonte? Liguria?
My family certainly blew through the national average long ago. What do you think is the best olive oil? I vote for Tuscan oils. Put your vote in the comment section if you want to start a good argument.Since Italy produces over 25% of the world's olive oil, there is a lot to argue about. Per capita consumption in Italy in 2000 was 48 cups a year. During this same period, it was 2 cups in the US.
