Hint of roses and a taste of chocolate

On Sunday afternoon, a more pleasant day could not have been had. A group of lucky ICD folks and friends were educated on the subtleties of Scotch whisky. Each of us had the good fortune to try 5 different scotches along with a variety of different fruits, nuts and chocolate. Each one was unique and surprising at the same time. After our palates were educated on the qualities of these unique Scotches, we were treated to a wonderful meal of Australian Lamb Chops, Smoked Salmon, Cannelli beans cooked with sage and served on a bed of baby spinach and much more. After our fine meal, we then experienced a beautiful dessert with our choice of a 10, 12 or 15 year oak barrelled Scotches. Chef Pete really out did himself with his signature lamb chops.

All of this wonderful day was courtesy of Giacomo Butera Jr supported by Giacomo Sr and The Macallan Scotch company. Variations on this theme will be held this summer and on into the fall. Watch for additional announcements.
