It is alive and well

On Saturday, 30+ ICD volunteers gave some if not all of their day to a worthy cause, the Special Olympics bocce competition. On the 15th, an equal number, with the same dedication, had helped get the participants prepped and ready for Saturday's event. I was proud to be a member of the ICD. The ICD was the largest group of volunteers. The message was clear, voluteerism is alive and well at the ICD.

Many thanks to all of the volunteers that gave so much and to Kathy Miller who not only organized the ICD participation but organized the assignments for the entire event on Saturday with very short notice.
