It was fun.....the food....oh my gosh

For those who were lucky enough to get a seat at the sold out Tour Culinario V, it was a wonderful evening. Thanks to the tireless efforts of John Gala who has spearheaded the Tour for the last few years, it was a roaring success. Assisted by Sandy, the Galas gave all of us a magical and unforgettable evening. The magic was provided by Chef Sharon Van Meter, the chef of President's, who delighted all in attendance with her culinary skills. Thanks to the generosity of Giacomo and Beverly Butera, all of the guests were treated to outstanding wines from Il Paradiso di Frassina wineries who were accompanied by the vintner, Carlo Cignozzi. Throughout the evening, the attendees were serenaded by Mary Ellen Di Tucci's piano and the strains of Nick Ballarini's accordion and band. Before the evening was over, the sounds of Italian singing filled the clubled by two of our shyest members Nicola Tamburino and Luigi Mungioli.
Events like this don't just happen especially ones that come off like clockwork as this one did. Thanks to John and Sandy who sweated ever detail from the food, the glasses, the wines, the door prizes, the gifts and of course selling out the event a month in advance insuring it's financial success. The club is very grateful to you both and all of the volunteers who helped for what you gave and what you provided the club members and their guests.
John and Sandy--thanks for being difference makers.
