Will The French Win the Souper bowl.....or will the Italians

There are those who believe that the best soup makers in the world are French. What those misguided few have not experienced is soup at the hands of an Italian. To set the record straight, the ICD is holding a soup cooking contest on Super Bowl Sunday, February 4th at the new clubhouse. Not only will we have great viewing of the Super Bowl watching the titans of the NFL battle it out, but titans of the kitchen will bring their best soup forward and ask the question the burning question "you want some this"? So pencil in on your calendar for a day of great fun at the ICD of soup and Super Bowl. Watch clubmail for more details. All soups entries are allowed, please no chili, from any national origin. Start your crock pots, get out your spices, and make your soup. The winner of the contest must divulge their recipe to the ICD membership for the honor of wearing the crown for a year. Soup competion and sampling begin early afternoon. After the kitchen contest, we can all settle in for an evening of viewing the Super Bowl XLI in our new clubhouse on our new HD TVs. Sandwiches and beverages will be available for purchase for the extra hungry. Bring a Frenchman and show them what real soup is like.
